Boys Hockey Update

The boys’ hockey team had a busy weekend with three games and travel.
On Thursday, February 2nd, the Panthers faced off against Tomah-Sparta.
AJ Jankowski, a junior, scored a goal unassisted in the first period. In the second period, Sophomore Lincoln Rahzen, from Bangor, scored with help from senior Jacob Helgeson. Abram Lassen, a junior goalie, faced 39 shots, but only six went through successfully.
The final score was 6-2.
The Panthers played Tomahawk on Friday, February 3rd. Starting strong, sophomore Tyler Meyer, from Bangor, scored an unassisted goal in the first three minutes of the game. However, the Panthers’ momentum stalled after Meyer’s goal.
Junior goalkeeper, Abram Lassen, faced 36 shots, seven were successful.
The final score was 7-1.
On Saturday, February 4th, the Panthers played Antigo. Sophomore Tyler Meyer, senior Nick Bruggeman, and freshman Aiden Koonce all scored.
The Panthers lost 6-3.
