The dance team can finally say “state” without knocking on wood. On January 28th, at the WACPC Dance Regionals, the dance team placed in Division IV with their pom routine. 

The top five finishers at regionals advanced to state, and the team placed 4th. They had been working hard all season long to achieve this goal. Senior Captain Lexi Tomten also made it to state with her solo. 

State will take place, February 4th, at the La Crosse Center. Tomten will perform at 9:18 a.m. and the group’s pom performance will be at 10:35 a.m. “Going to state is such a rewarding end to the season,” Tomten says. “Since our team got so close this year, it has been a great experience. We worked so hard for these past nine months and it’s amazing to see our hard work pay off.” 

Come support on Saturday. Tickets are $15 and are valid for use Friday 2/3 and Saturday 2/4. Tickets can also be purchased in person, with a card. There are no cash sales.
