Formula 1 is the pinnacle of all motorsports. They travel all over the world to race at multiple incredible tracks that span cities and forests. In this list, I will evaluate and rank the top 5 tracks in the 2026 calendar. I will be ranking the tracks based on my experience. I have been watching F1 for multiple years now and have also raced on the tracks in games. Being well qualified to rank these tracks, I feel that these are the best 5. I will rank these tracks on History, Layout, Turns, and Entertainment.
5. Suzuka Circuit
Suzuka Circuit is a unique track with multiple incredible corners. with a tight turn at turn 11 and multiple high-speed corners at turns 4, 5, 6, and 7. Additionally, the track drives over itself to create a great spectacle. The views at Sazuka are incredible, which helps to create a beautiful track. Furthermore, the history of Suzuka makes it an incredible track. F1 had its first race in Suzuka in 1987 and has been a returning track since. Suzuka has been home to infamous moments, with the famous one being with Frenado Alonzo. In 2005 at Suzuka, Frenado Alonzo made a risky overtake on Micheal Shumacer. This helped him eventually win the 2005 driver’s championship. After the overtake frenado gave one of the most famous lines in F1. Frenado Alanzo said after the race, “I knew he’d hit the brakes—he has a wife and two kids at home.” The only downside to Suzuka is the enclosed track. This leads to less overtaking and less action. With all those factors, this makes Suzuka an incredible track.
4. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is one of the most famous tracks on this list. The track was first built to be a World War II bomber base, but was then repurposed to be a race track. Silverstone had its first F1 race in 1950 and has since returned every year. Additionally, has been made for great racing. With a track that is 3.66 miles long, no sector is the same. The track has many famous turns that are great for racing. Copse corner, Maggots, and Becketts are some of the most famous turns in F1. These turns allow for some great, interesting racing. Silverstone has great racing and is always fun to watch. For example, in 2024, Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix. This was a great moment for multiple fans, and thanks to the track, Lewis Hamilton was able to secure the win. Silverstone Circuit is one of the most famous tracks, and rightfully so. It is a great track that has had some great moments.
3. Yas Marina Circuit
The Yas Marina Circuit is known for its incredible and memorable races. Yas Marina Circuit is the last race on the F1 calendar. This makes it an intense and stressful race. This race usually decides the driver’s championship. For example, in 2025, the drivers’ championship was decided at the Yas Marina Circuit. Yas Marina Circuit also has incredible turns, which make for good racing. There are many slow and high-speed corners, which make the track very diverse. When watching Races at the Yas Marina Circuit, it is never boring, and no race is the same. That is what truly makes it a great track.
2. Autódromo José Carlos Pace
Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as the São Paulo Grand Prix, is truly some of the best racing. The wide, high-speed corners allow for some great overtaking. In addition, the weather allows for some interesting racing. For multiple years, it has rained in são Paulo for the race. This led to some great and interesting driving with drivers sliding off the race track and multiple overtakes. Additionally, there have been some great races at São Paulo. For example, in 2021, Lewis Hamilton at the São Paulo Grand Prix went from 20th to 1st. This drive was one of the greatest in history and will be remembered forever. The track’s layout and turns helped Lewis Hamilton win the race. Autódromo José Carlos Pace is number 2 for a reason; it is always fun to watch and is one of the best circuits out there.
1. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is also known as the Belgian Grand Prix. This track is not only the best in F1 but in other motorsports as well. The track is 4.3 miles long, which allows for amazing racing. Turns 3, 4, and 5, also known as Eau Rouge is one of the most famous turns in motor sports. This corner is one most high speed corners in all of F1. The track also has some great slow corners, too, that allow for amazing overtakes. The track’s layout is complex and allows for great entertainment. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps additionally has a famous history. Its First F1 race was in 1925 and has continued to be a track in F1 ever since. The weather also allows for some great racing. It has rained in Belgium for a couple of years now, and those races were truly entertaining. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is the best for a reason, with its insane turns and layout. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is truly the best and will never be beaten.
