The West Salem track team this year is like no other, especially the girls 4×200 meter relay. Senior Olivia Maki, junior Kaylee Skiles, sophomore Brielle Moore, and freshman Kensley Skifton all are on the record breaking relay. This year alone they have broken the school record not once, but twice. The record was a long-standing 50 years old. The record was a time of 1:48.40 and the first time they broke it with 1:47.86. Then on May 11th they did it again, almost a second faster, with 1:46.98.
