Baseball Falls to Westby

On Monday, May 2nd, the boys baseball team took on Westby, at home in a conference match-up.

Starting strong in the first inning the boys get three outs, and start to get ready to bat. After getting on base, Carson Koepnick steals all the way around to third. Westby’s pitcher throws a wild pitch causing Koepnick to steal home, giving the Panthers the lead.

Not able to keep up, the boys let up 4 runs in the top of the second. Getting a run themselves in the bottom of the inning the boys were not able to get the bats going, losing 7-2 to Westby.

The boys next game will be a fun match-up on Wednesday, May 4th, against our very own Adaptive Sports League, in a wiffle ball game. Their next conference game will be on Thursday, May 5th against Viroqua at home, game is to start at 5:00
