On January 14th, the West Salem Gymnastics Co-op team went to Holmen to compete. They ended up placing third with some high scores from the team. They were competing against Division 1 teams, and ended up with a solid 134.575 points along with a top performance on floor. Sophomore Hailey Ives finished 3rd on vault with 8.7, and Bangor’s freshman Camden Lyga placed 4th on floor with a 9.2. Freshman Olivia Maki says, “I thought we all did well on floor and vault.” 

The next gymnastics competition is on Friday January 17th at 5:45 where they will start on the bars. They will compete at Viroqua High School.
