On Thursday, March 2, 2023, The West Salem branch of the National Honor Society hosted a blood drive in the LMC, alongside the American Red Cross. A total of 58 units of blood were donated, making the event a success. “We had a goal of 50 units so we are always worried that we won’t reach that goal.” says Jennifer Stenberg, co-advisor of West Salem’s NHS, “I think it went fantastic as we exceeded our goal by 8 units.”
