Nothing is more classic than a wreath on the front door, or around the house in miniature forms. These are simple decorations that scream Christmas is coming! Fun fact, before wreaths were used as decoration for Christmas, ancient Egyptians used wreaths made out of specific materials to award athletes in the Olympic Games, and many others!
3. Stockings
Stockings are a must when it comes to Christmas decorations, I mean how else are you going to give someone their little gifts? I always wonder if the first stockings were just large socks pinned above a nice fireplace.

These little guys have become super popular for any holiday and a new favorite for the moms! Although they can be bought throughout the year, they are perfect for cute decor around any part of the household. What’s not to love about a little stuffed gnome in cute patterns?

Imagine walking into your warm house and smelling pine and a hint of clove. Candles are a super easy and loved decoration that adds light and warmth to the home. Candles have been around for more than 5000 years and are very popular still today with new scents every year.
9. Elf on the Shelf
These mischievous elves are always getting into trouble and full of surprises. They come around the end of November and into December. So many eyes watching the kids for Santa to make sure they stay on the nice list! Also, they are permanent decorations for every year!
10. Cookie Jar
Delicious, warm, gooey cookies. The mouth just waters when thinking of them! A treat for Santa and all his hard work and an exciting thing for the children in the home the night before Christmas. Waking up and seeing the cookies bitten in the cookie jar and the veggies all gone from the reindeer is so thrilling on Christmas morning!
