Stephen King is someone who is known for horror stories. The book starts with the main character stumbling across a rip in time. The character, Jake, finds himself in the middle of the JFK presidency and is tasked with keeping the president alive till the end of his term. Throughout the story, Jake forms relationships in this new timeline. King shows the reader through this book to take time and slow down to enjoy what is around you. The relationship the character builds throughout the book is the plot.

Saving 6 is the first book in a series by the Irish author Chloe Walsh. This book is the first of many to take the reader on a whirlwind of emotion. The series and this book specifically do an excellent job of showing the effects of addiction in a family and romantic dynamic. Every story from the series brings to light all the ugly of growing up in poverty with addiction running in the family.

This novel takes the reader on quite an emotional journey. The story revolves around a teenage girl and her romantic life throughout her last few years in high school. The name of this book ties to the lack of communication throughout the story. Harping on her love for her neighbor who did not know until it was too late. Lots of twists and turns the reader will see coming.

Mitch Albom knows how to write a book. If you open your heart and mind while reading this story you are almost guaranteed to be left in tears. The point of the story is to learn how to live. Mitch returns to his hometown and interviews his old college professor on all the questions that plague our minds. What is your biggest regret? What does it mean to live? The answers that lay inside the book leave the reader with a revised clarity of the world.
