Dancing With The Stars is a 33-season series where pro dancers are paired up with celebrities who have not had experience with dance; such as actors, singers, reality TV hosts, sports players, and many more. The paired couples dance to several different ballroom styles in hopes of winning the Mirrorball Trophy.
1.) Val Chmerkovskiy
Val appeared on Dancing with the Stars starting in season 2 but did not become a professional dancer on the show until season 13. He has won 3 mirror ball trophies with season 20, actress Rumer Willis, season 23, gymnast Laurie Hernandez, and season 32 Marvel star Xochitl Gomez.
2.) Mark Ballas
Mark first appeared on the show in season 5 as a professional dancer. He had been a professional for 20 years and had won three mirror balls. After 3 mirror ball wins, Ballas decided to retire as a professional after winning season 31 with Charli D’Amelio. Along with his season 31 win, he won season 6 with Olympic Gold-Medalist figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, and season 8 with Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
Daniella first appeared on the show with her husband Pasha Pashkov in 2019 during season 28. She had won her first mirror ball trophy with former NBA player Iman Shumpert during season 30. She had also joined her husband in the season 32 finale with singer Jason Mraz.
4.) Derek Hough
Derek had joined Dancing with the Stars alongside his sister Julianne Hough back in 2007 during season five. He has the most mirror ball trophy wins with a total of 6 trophies. Season 7 Derek earned his first win with Brooke Burke, season 10 with Nicole Scherzinger, season 11 with Jennifer Grey, season 17 with Amber Riley, and season 21 with Bindi Irwin. After the end of season 23, Derek decided to retire as a professional dancer and came back to the show at the start of season 29.
5.) Jenna Johnson
Jenna first appeared on the show during season 18 in 2014 and became a professional dancer on the show during season 23. She currently won her second mirror ball trophy during the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, season 33 with The Bachelor’s Joey Graziadi, and won her first mirror ball trophy with retired Olympic figure skater Adom Rippon in season 26.
