While the Wisconsin Public Radio claims that Shein’s low prices reflect their quality, others, like West Salem High School freshman student Kaylie Knudtson, thinks Shein is a great resource for high schoolers like her. Knudtson says that Shein is a great place to find affordable clothing and accessories while still staying on trend.
With teenagers and women in their early twenties struggling to know where to buy the recent trends, Shein is affordable and full of variety making it a top option for many people. When talking to freshman Kaylie Knudtson, she talks about the benefit of the price Shein offers. Kaylie states that “… because everything is, like, cheap. So it’s, like, kind of convenient.” Later she also states that because “of the price, I can get a lot in one sitting, based off, name brand stuff. It’s, like, you can buy one or two items and it’s, like, already $120.” She also talks about how Shein’s low prices benefit others like single moms and people with unstable finances. “I know a few parents’ friends that buy stuff off Shein.” With Shein’s low prices it’s very clear to see that people benefit from the prices being so low.
The second reason why people will turn to buy clothes from Shein is how cute and trendy their clothes are. With the idea of what teens should be wearing and where to buy it switching like the weather it can be difficult to keep up. Besides the affordable clothes, Shein also has a wide variety of options in a large range of sizes. They are also consistently creating new products that match current trends and styles. This wide selection allows everyone to find something for them in the size they need.
