The first Breakfast of Champions event to honor students of the month was held Friday, November 3. Each department nominates a student for recognition. The following students were recognized:

Award winners and their families attended the Breakfast of Champions the morning of November 3rd at 7 am. The teachers that nominated them spoke about them and their achievements.

Two of these students are Rico Goins and Gunner Lueck, both freshmen who are experiencing the Breakfast of Champions for the first time. Mr.Holter wrote about Rico saying: “Rico has done a fabulous job in App Design so far this year. He has taken it upon himself to be a class helper and assist other students in their learning. He’s doing an excellent job actually helping students learn, not just telling them how to get the right answer. He’s an Amazing helper!” Ms.Tower wrote about Gunner saying: “Gunner is our student of the month for his hard work, kindness, and humor. He works diligently in class, always ready to help and make others smile. Gunner is a great friend to his peers, and his sense of humor brightens our school day every day. He has had a great start to his high school career.”

The next Breakfast of Champions will be held on December 1st.
